Washington Heights since birth!
While a student at Fordham University, David Hunt began a part-time job at Your Father’s Mustache in Greenwich Village and has been involved as bartender, food consultant, manager and proprietor since then. A detour took him to the Midwest where he served as a Vista volunteer and helped develop a reading program for The Milwaukee Public Library that became the model for the national “Reading is Fundamental” (RIF) program in the 1970’s and 1980’s. David is married to Kathleen and together they have three children, Doyle, Thomas and Kathleen. David had the good sense to be born in the heart of Washington Heights, on 190th Street and Fort Washington Avenue, 60 or so years ago.
