Senior Center

The Senior Center funded by Department for the Aging and Department of Youth and Community Development offers a wide variety of core programs including:

  • Congregate lunch
  • Experienced caseworkers
  • Recreational and educational activities
  • English classes
  • Free legal consultation through Volunteers of Legal Services (VOLS)
  • Computer lab with classes, Skype capability to communicate via video

There is a voluntary contribution for lunch, though no one will be denied a hot meal because of inability to make a contribution. The only requirement is that clients be 60 years of age or older.

  • Health screenings and workshops
  • Parties with live music for dancing (for birthdays, anniversary, holidays)
  • Atlantic City Trips
