José Albino has been working in the non-profit sector for over twenty-five years in senior and executive leadership capacities in the aging industry. He has managed a diverse number of sectors within the aging field including, but not limited to: meals on wheels, older adult centers, case management, health and wellness, advocacy, leadership development, supportive housing, and mental health programs. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Seniors at RiseBoro Community Partnership, and prior to this role, for 8 years, he was the Executive Director of GRIOT Circle – the first and only staffed social service organization in the country dedicated to serving LGBTQ+ older adults of color. A leading expert in community counseling, Jose is a mental health clinician and professional coach. He holds a BA in Psychology from University at Albany, and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The George Washington University.
