Alive Inside

The program comes to us through Excel/GDS and Dr. Gary Altheim, PsyD, who brings students to share music with our participants. Students and participants are paired and given headsets that have music that are specifically tailored to the participants. Students are able to have group discussions with our participants. Music in our program has proven to be a true success and engages participants, regardless of level of functioning. Music triggers memories and often participants will sing along and dance to the music.
