Support groups for Ms B

Ms B is the primary caregiver to her mother who has Lewy body dementia. Ms B had to leave her job because of her own health issues, and was in need of a program that offered time to take care of herself and care for her mother. Ms B found Riverstone’s Memory Center, with a day care program for her mother and specialized activities for her as a caregiver. Ms B has expressed gratitude for the program, stating that the respite allows her to care for her own personal needs, knowing that her mother is in a safe environment. She attends support groups and notes feeling welcomed and a sense of relief in knowing that she isn’t alone. Ms B found the advice shared by her peers to be informative and valuable.
